Process Post!!!

Over the course of project #2, my creative process evolved and I began to introduce new techniques into my art. I kept the same theme of connection but changed the process a little. In the beginning weeks of my project I tried to make it somewhat realistic, keeping consistent with the style I created my summer project in.

Starting with the sketch, I did a loose gesture of what I wanted to create and then I tried to follow that with the paint but I ended up accidentally making the paint too thick and painting over my sketch which is probably the first place I went wrong.

The second thing I experimented with was adding shades of blue into the face which went well and I am looking to continue with. I really enjoyed using other colors within the neutral painting and it is something I would really like to continue.
