Awareness Post - Nicole Benjamin

Nicole Benjamin is an older french artist born in 1949 who is centered in Naples, Italy. His work is very loose, colorful, and free. A lot of his art is oil painting centered around varying forms of nature. I really enjoy his interpretation of color and the various color schemes he uses in his art. They really bring out the wild part of the nature that he is painting, with the lack of patterns and the raw, visible brush strokes that he uses, his appreciation of the general disorder found in the natural world. Following the idea that I would possibly like to continue oil painting in the future, I would like to find more artists like him, however I think I would like to move towards a more realistic aesthetic. I enjoy his use of color, which is something I would definitely like to implement into my own creations.
